Poetry Shots – 26th August

McLeod’s Booksellers have once again put their hands up to host, ‘Poetry Shots!’ – an evening where local poets Brian Potiki, Angela Frank, Keith Nunes, Khushi Usmani, Kay MacGregor, Jeshel Forrester and Tawhanga Nopera will perform from their personal collections,  accompanied by musicians and an appreciative audience.

Brian Potiki and Keith Nunes were headliners of last year’s Poetry Shots. This year promises to be more ‘shot’ like: more than eight poets and musicians will fill two hours with quick-fire performances.

Come and be part of it! Expect nice coffee, short sharp poetry shots + music. Koha entry.
