Rotorua NZ Music Month 2018 Concert – 18th May

Rotorua celebrates NZ Music Month!

Come join us for an evening of various local artists performing original songs at Prince’s Gate, the Monarch Room.

Our artists performing are:
Airs & Disgraces
Airs and Disgraces are an Acoustic duo based in Mount Maunganui. Comprised of Kim /lead Vox/ guitar, and Jase/ lead guitar/ Vox , their genre has been described as Dark Folk Rock.

They have been playing and writing together for over 5 years, with each of them having other musical projects, including writing, recording and producing a track together for a documentary that featured on Māori Television.

Lloyd Akroyd
Lloyd is an outstanding musician of over 20 years’ experience of playing in local cover bands. As a solo performer he incorporates his vast knowledge of playing different genres and creates his own style of music inspired by his family, his lovely wife and children as well as growing up in Rotorua.

– 6pm – Doors open
– 6:30pm – Young upcoming musician (tbc)
– 7pm – Airs & Disgraces
– 8pm – Lloyd Akroyd

Entry by donation.

About the venue:
Entrance on Hinemaru St.

Doors open 6pm.

Fully licensed bar located inside the venue, with EFTPOS facilities. Warm meals can be ordered from Prince’s Gate.
